Tyne Bar, Newcastle
May 9th 16:00 to late

HeartbreakThe much revered cult night the Road To Rimini will be debuting at The Tyne with an all dayer of non-stop-disconic-electroid action featuring the best of local and national talent. Headlining the event is NME favourites, Heartbreak, who are in the middle of the NME Radar tour and making great waves across the UK with their disco pop. It will be the third appearance at the night by the London based duo and they have been busy releasing their debut album ‘Lies’, gigging all over the world and† getting lauded by all kinds of hip magazines and remixing the likes of Neon Neon, La Roux and Saint Etienne. Support comes from local acts including Tokyo Acid Cru with their funked-up basslines and pulsing beats and The Cylon with his dark electro stylings. In between the acts there will be djs from sets from Fratelli Di Rimini with the best in Italio, electro, disco and Kraut. What more could you ask for and its all free. Catch Heartbreak before the go pop into the mainstream.
