Intro

The Fancy ToysJames Duncan and Mick‰el TÈo have been writing, playing live and recording in the studio with many artists, since they were really pretty young. They take influences from across the globe and implement them into a new, exciting and refreshing way of making music. With the Fancy Toys, they unleash their creativity, challenge themselves through the use of different and unusual instruments and explore new sounds.

James and Mick‰el met when The Loot paper fell open to ‘guitarist needed’ in Mick‰el’s hands. Both stimulate each other’s creativities and they have developed a range of short-lived but nonetheless exciting projects: A model agency, a music agency and a TV cooking program. Music won out and The Fancy Toys were created.

The Fancy Toys love to invite guests on to the stage to help out with the performance. Notable inclusions are trumpet, double bass, backing vocals and percussion. Their vision is to write music that will be extremely fresh and to stimulate listeners to smile, laugh and dance. The Fancy Toys show is a unique visual and audio experience; a true show. So stand back and watch the comedy, the lights, the make up and be truly entertained.
