Alternative pop songstress Erinn Williams knows that she’s not your prototypical pop star. She is a strong singer/songwriter whose background in opera translates into some of the dramatic overtures she writes into her music. The Cumberland Arms are welcoming her back on Friday 12th June, when she last played The Cumberland she left a lasting impression on all who saw her.
With lyrics that weave around a room, creating a picture of emotions in each person, she really captures an audience. You could try to compare her to others but she really is unique and has to be seen to be believed. Support comes from Lady Caroline Mary and the Brothers Hagan. Doors open 8pm, entry £7. The Cumberland Arms, James Place St, Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne. NE6 1LD. Tel. 0191 265 1725
